Scope; Third-Party Websites. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect at and through the Website and information we collect offline. Our Website also contains links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by TRF. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Website and to read the privacy statements of each website that collects personal information.

Information We Collect and Why We Collect It

Information Provided by Donors (both online and offline). Types of personal information we collect when you provide it to us include name, address, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number(s), credit card number (solely for making donations and contributions.

Information We Collect Automatically. We collect certain information automatically as you use our website, such as: IP address, browser type, computer or device type, unique identifiers, operating system version, the website from where you navigated to our website, time and date of using our website, the pages on our website that you view, the name of your internet service provider (ISP).

How We Use and Share Your Information

To Provide Products, Services, and Information. We use your personal information to provide you with information about TRF and to process contributions and donations you make using your credit card or debit card. We provide information to third-party service providers that help us run our website and process your credit and debit card transactions.

We may use third parties to help host our website, send out email updates about the website, provide marketing and advertising services for us, remove repetitive information from our user lists, and process payments. These service providers will have access to your personal information to provide these services, but when this occurs we implement reasonable contractual and technical protections to limit their use of that information to help us provide the service.

Your Consent. In addition to the sharing described elsewhere in this Policy, we will share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of TRF when we have your consent to do so. We will not trade, share or sell a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations unless we have received specific permission to do so.

Legal Proceedings. We will share personal information with third-party companies, organizations, or individuals outside of TRF if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to: meet any applicable law, regulation, subpoena, legal process or governmental request, enforce applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations, detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of TRF, our users, customers or the public as required or permitted by law.

Transfer in the Event of Sale or Change of Control. If the ownership of all or substantially all our business changes or we otherwise transfer assets relating to our business or the Website to a third party, such as by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy proceeding or otherwise, we may transfer or sell your personal information to the new owner. We process your donation securely using measures that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI DSS”) and Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) the credit card industry’s most stringent security standard. Examples of our security measures include physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards; sophisticated security monitoring tools; documented security policies; use of strong encryption (e.g., TLS) for credit card processing; restricted access to personally identifiable information.

We use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.

International Privacy Practices

Our Website is operated and managed on servers located and operated within the United States. By using and accessing our Websites, residents and citizens of countries and jurisdictions outside of the United States agree and consent to the transfer to and processing of personal information on servers located in the United States, and that the protection of such information may be different than required under the laws of your residence or location.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent in accordance with applicable law. The Tyler Robinson Foundation Inc. (“TRF”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our patrons.  For this reason, we have adopted a set of privacy guidelines as outlined below.  These guidelines disclose the information gathering and dissemination policies for the trf.org website (the “Site”).  Due to the evolving nature of TRF, these guidelines are subject to change.  Any such changes will be posted on this page.

We do not currently require registration for access to the Site, nor do we use cookies to track our visitors.  TRF may log IP addresses of visitors for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes (your IP address indicates the location of your computer on the Internet).  However, we do not log IP addresses to track your session, nor do we link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable.

Although donations are collected through our website we do not currently collect any credit card of other financial information.  We do collect basic contact information such as name, address, email address, and phone number (when a patron submits an inquiry through the Site or makes a donation).  However, we never share this information with third parties without your express consent.

We may use the contact information to send you updates, news, and other promotional materials from TRF from time to time.  We also will use the email address provided to respond to an inquiry or comment submitted through the Site.  Upon request, TRF will (a) remove you and your personal information from our databases; (b) correct personal information that you state is erroneous; or (c) permit you to “opt-out” of further e-mail contact.  To request a correction or cancellation, or if you have any questions concerning this privacy statement or our information gathering and dissemination practices, please contact us through the “Contact” page on the Site.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, ensure the appropriate use of information and protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online.

At our TRF, we value all employees, job candidates, and potential TRF families as unique individuals, and we welcome the variety of experiences they bring to our company. As such, we have a strict non-discrimination policy.
