Summer is here! TRF is launching the TRF Summer Splash campaign. The online donation campaign is an opportunity to celebrate special occasions and help balance the hard times that families must cope with while dealing with a child’s pediatric cancer diagnosis. As part of the TRF Family Fun grants, TRF Summer Splash will help make this summer memorable for TRF families.

Summertime is a season to escape and create memories, but between managing treatment, medical bills and out-of-pocket life expenses in addition to the routine costs of day-to-day living, vacations become more of a challenge than a respite for pediatric cancer families. With the arising economic pressures making an already challenging situation that much worse, TRF Summer Splash is an opportunity to alleviate just one of the many pressures these families face and allow the families to enjoy some summer fun.

Donation suggestions start at as little as $10, which can help cover the cost of marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers to make s’mores. The TRF Summer Splash campaign offers donation suggestions in multiple tiers, including:

🌊 A $50 donation will cover one single-day ticket to a water park 

🎥🍿 A $75 donation will cover 4 movie theater tickets, plus snacks 

🎳 A $100 will cover two hours of Cosmic Bowling for a family of five

🍔🌭 A $200 donation will cover food and drinks for a family barbecue

🧳 A $500 donation will cover expenses for a family staycation
